ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

Imago Dei Prison Ministry oversee ID Grace House UK. We have been working in prisons for many years offering support and courses that help to address the root causes of offending behaviour. Many women make great progress inside just to leave the prison with nowhere to live, and some return to prison within a week of release.  By offering accommodation and support we aim to stop this re-offending cycle.

OUR VISION

  • We want Grace House to have a welcoming, supportive and empowering environment where women leaving prison are encouraged to live out their full potential.

  • We will give them life skills training, one-to-one support and help with their search for work and permanent housing when they are ready to move on.

  • ID Grace House UK is a Christian project and prayer will be central to all we do as a staff team. Grace House will be open to women of all faiths and none.

  • We believe that each woman is unique and has within them gifts and talents that will help them to live a full and crime-free life.

OUR PURPOSE

  • To encourage and support women who have been in prison upon release.

  • To see a lower reoffence rate.

  • To help all our residents successfully settle into society.

  • To empower all our residents to positively change their lives with a new hope for the future.
