WHAT WE DO
Our Accommodation
We care deeply about excellence and high quality in the work that we do, and this extends to the physical accommodation provided at Grace House.
The house is designed to be comfortable, clean, safe, and free from drugs and alcohol, creating an environment where women can feel secure and supported as they rebuild their lives. This is essential to the ethos of Grace House.
Grace House has been carefully renovated and thoughtfully decorated with heart and intention, reflecting the value, dignity, and worth of the women we support. Every effort has been made to create a warm and welcoming home where residents feel respected, cared for, and able to thrive.
Our Work
We will work closely with residents at Grace House to support them in finding meaningful employment, education, or volunteering opportunities as part of their journey towards independence and stability.
Support will include CV writing, interview preparation, disclosure training, confidence building, and assistance accessing volunteering or work experience opportunities within the community. Which will be provided through access to our #Shematters Employment Network.
At Grace House, we provide a wide range of engaging courses, group sessions, and activities designed to support personal growth, confidence, and wellbeing. Alongside our work within women’s probation projects, residents can take part in activities within the house such as arts and crafts, cooking sessions, gardening, wellbeing groups, and life skills workshops. These activities help to build confidence, encourage positive social connections, and create opportunities for learning, creativity, and personal development in a safe and supportive environment.
1-2-1 WORKING SESSIONS
Residents at Grace House will have access to tailored one-to-one support, including counselling and life coaching, designed to meet their individual needs and aspirations. Dedicated Key Workers will work closely with each resident to identify personal goals, build confidence and resilience, and support them in making positive progress towards greater independence and wellbeing.
