Our Accommodation
We care about excellence and high quality in the work that we do. This extends to the physical accommodation that Grace House will be.
The house will be comfortable, clean and free from drugs and alcohol. This is essential.
Work
We will work with those living at Grace House to find employment, with services including: CV writing, disclosure training, opportunities for volunteering or work experience in the community and use of the Employment Network.
This theme in our training is about positive parenting and how to create and then nurture healthy relationships through boundaries and good communication.
Life Skills Training
Life skills training will be provided either in the house or in the community. It will address the root causes that may have led to a prison sentence. Our Life Skills Training has five key themes:

This theme in our course helps the women living at Grace House to learn about budgets and debt. We’ll assist them in finding permanent housing and understanding tenancy agreements.
1:1 Support
Staff will offer one-to-one support where it is needed. This will consist of working with residents to help them set their own goals that they want to achieve during their stay at Grace House and beyond.
Emotional Health
This theme in our course is about understanding assertiveness and anxiety, loss and forgiveness, healthy anger and extends to confidence building.
Physical Health
This theme in our course is about the benefits of physical exercise, the importance of self-presentation and also focuses on self-image.
